So they see how bad first-past-the-post is, and they want to make it more first-past-the-posty?
Try this:
- ranked-choice voting for all elected offices
- fewer but larger congressional districts with mathematically ungerrymandered borders
- multiple seats per district with proportional seat allocation for congress instead of most-unified-demographic-wins
- the right to referendum
- the right to recall politicians who aren't doing what we elected them to do
- term limits for congress
- term limits for supreme court
- ban corporate lobbying
