Seems kinda antithetical to be pushing for building FOSS alternatives when the product you're shilling isn't even open source...
While I get your point, the analogy here would be: the shovel seller is telling you to dig a hole. You don't have to use their shovel to do it, you don't even need a shovel, but they know if you start digging, you might reach for it.
