It’s a good goal, but I think it is a broader issue than OpenAI. Virtually every space turns into a bubble. TV channels have their biases, journalists have their biases, social media (like subreddits) have their biases, etc. Everyone likes hearing things that make them feel validated. It’s a serious problem.
I don't see the issue, if you bias things towards empirical reality. There is no reason that AI should be promoting avant-garde spiritualism to the masses.
