A shame the article is partisan/biased, when it is a game that can be and will be played by others too.
I observed a pattern during the summer of 2016 in which Russian accounts would flood social media platforms with content in the early hours of the morning when most Americans were asleep and it was easier to influence trending topics given the lower volume of posts. Then, by the time most Americans woke up and checked social media, the topic would be trending
