Helped a senior install Office 2024. It's really hidden on the login page of products and services. Search finds it, but if you think the entire product catalog is visible: it isn't. They "sell" 365. They will provide downloadable Office if you ask for it, but don't offer it overtly. To me, thats deceptive in and of itself: Seniors have limited mental bandwidth and distrust their own belief "oh that 365 thing must be what I wanted"
All the install time interactions project 365 "plus those other things" and are causing some FUD for them, during install "I thought you said it was the downloadable version"
