I had a strong knee-jerk reaction that this is a manufactured pretext for Trump's next plans in the Caribbean. I hope I'm wrong, but at the same time Havana Syndrome sounds way too much like "paranoids from the CIA get tinnitus and blame Russia".
I too had such a reaction. It doesn't help that the website is CBS, owned by a pro-Trump oligarch, and headed up by a pro-Trump ideologue who has already spiked a big story critical of Trump.
