Hi HN — we built Basement over the holidays as a small experiment.
Basement is a browser that lets you chat with other people who are currently on the same webpage. The idea is to make browsing more social and contextual instead of pushing all discussion into separate platforms.

Discussing products directly on the product page
Fans chatting live on game or event pages
Lightweight community forming around any URL
The app is live on iOS and we’d love honest feedback — what feels useful, what feels awkward, and where this breaks down.
