Sure, you could ask what this is all about, if it's a cult maybe; but this rocket is taking off so fast that even that short hesitation would cause you to miss it. If you're not always 3 steps ahead of what you will dare to dream tomorrow, you're basically as good as dead.
That would effectively spell the end of creativity. Humans would slowly lose the basic empathy required to let somebody tell _them_ a story — “it wasn’t what I wanted” :-(
